The Sleepy Hollow Homestead welcomes you to our sleepy little homestead in the making. Our small family of four recently purchased an aging 80 acre farm and an 1865 Colonial Revival farmhouse in Southeast Indiana. We’re working hard to take our not-so-little slice of land and turn it into the homestead and house of our dreams.
Upcoming Homestead Projects:

Although we have big dreams for this place, our current and upcoming project list includes: improving our Chicken set-up and building up our flock, building up our gardens and permaculture food forests, establishing orchards and vineyards, starting a rabbitry, and slowly renovating our farmhouse ourselves.
We’re also working to build heritage skills, improve our health, and start turning our lives and focus on what really matters: home.
As a recovering slob, I’m constantly trying to improve my homemaking and make our home a clean, cozy, and inviting refuge for my family and our friends. We are documenting this adventure here on the blog and also on our YouTube channel and Instagram. Join me on my journey to becoming a better homemaker, homesteader, and homeschool mama.
What The Sleepy Hollow Homestead is about:
I have decided to document our journey to a sustainable and functional homestead, DIYing the home of our dreams. As well as my personal journey to improving as a wife, mom, homemaker, and human on this blog, our YouTube Channel, and my Instagram in order to remind myself of where we started, in order to keep a record for ourselves and our children, and in order to build a community of like-minded souls to support and encourage each other.
